I HAVE ASK THEM NOT TO CALL

Said they were from USAA, needing information regarding a claim. Since USAA is closed on weekends this has to be someone spoofing the number.

This is a service number from USAA. The agent is calling to assist you in a matter that has come to their attention. For example, in a car accident, USAA reviews the file and may contact several people to let them know they are beneficiaries, among other things.

The number is reputable to the USAA billing department.Scammers and criminals are spoofing this number to harass the public and peddle their scams.USAA needs to take these criminals to court.

'Legitimate number' or not -I have NEVER done business with them, nor have I requested info from them or contacted them in any way. Yet, they called me at 9:11 this morning.(No I didn't answer the phone so I don't know what their purpose was.0

This number calls me MULTIPLE times each week back to back! They never leave a message either. I just don't answer it anymore because they were very rude when I decided to finally answer a couple months ago. They've already called me 4 times this morning and it's not even 10 am yet

This is a real USAA # but with all the spoofing software out its best to hang up and call the # back to be safe. I got a call from this # and they leave a voicemail saying call 800-952-2429 << this # is fake. I also got called by 800-531-5192 in the same day. stay safe people!

Left a msg on my cell phone. Called back, and got USAA insurance company. This is a legitimate USAA call-in number. Normally, when you call this number, you'll be asked for your USAA PIN [assuming you are a USAA client], and then have to input a 5-digit phone extension number for the person you want to talk with.NOTE: this number will also get USAA's reps who are working from home [telecommuting].
