Got a call from this number today. A guy with a heavy accent told me his name (although I couldn't understand what he said) and his company website, something like digitapply.com. Said he was with a job agency. He asked if I was near a computer to go onto their site and I said no, He asked if I would verify my name and email address -- and since I've been getting a lot of calls from headhunters because I am job-hunting, I reluctantly answered. The he asked what year I graduated high school. I said that's not relevant; companies are not allowed to ask you that because it indicates your age. He said "just the year" like that would make it better. I refused; he asked why; I said "I just told you!" Then he asked what year I was born, and I gave him the same answer. He said "well, I guess you are not interested in a good job" and hung up.
Hey, I have an update. The website is visitapply.com. It says it's a career and educational company. But they still don't sound legit.
Received call from "Academic Adviso" at 9:31 AM. I assume it is for some kind of education or training program they want to sell you. Didn't leave a message. Most likely got my # from a online job application. Doug
Got a call, answered it. She said "This is Ashley from Academic Advisors..."That's as far as I let her get. I said this is a spam call and take me off your list, then hung up. She was still trying to talk over me....
Dont take any surveys online!!!... I took a survey and such people have been calling me since then for things like diabetes treatment, surgery, job, higher studies, n stuff...Its soo Annoying.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
