Called back to back 5 times in less than 1 minute. I ignored call each time. Left no message. Irritating.
cell phone ID was TX. Didn't answer and they left no message. Blocked it. Should I answer app said not to answer.
Calls themselves "Home Secure Solutions". Idk what they're actually selling, but certainly not my security. Heavy accent reading off a rote book in a noisy boiler room.I didn't encourage him and hung up.
**SCAM*** Was called today- after listening, it sounds like prerecorded responses. Same intonation and pauses before each.Voice: "Hello, my name is Eric and we're calling you about your home security system."Me: "I'm sorry, you're calling from what company"Voice: *PAUSE* "We're calling from Alliance a world-reknowned security company."Me: "Ok, how can I help you?"Voice: *Pause* "We're looking for a banner home in your area for our company. Would you be willing to allow us to wire you **NOT SURE WHAT ELSE WAS HERE, very long intro** and put a sign on your lawn?"Me: "I'm sorry, what did you say your name was?"Voice: *Pause* "Do you own your home?"Me: "That's not what I asked you. What is your name?"Voice: *Long pause, click* "My name is James and I'm calling from Alliance a world-renkowned security company."Me: "That's not what you said your name was just a moment ago. Received three calls from someone with an East Asian accent saying they were from citi-bank and wanting to know if I took out a credit card. I just said no and hung up.
