Have been receiving calls from this number for about three months now. Since finding this web site and replies, I posted this # to make sure no one answers this number.

Just got a call from this number too. No one said anything and then hung up.

I HAVE BEEN GETTING THESE CALLS AT LEAST ONCE A DAY FOR SEVERAL WEEKS AND IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!! WHAT CAN WE DO TO STOP THESE?

Just called them and talked an operator. Was a nice guy and said as of tomorrow I will be on their do not cal list. Said they are marketing firm for utility companies wanting to gain new customers. Bassicly they are violated the do not call list as they called my cellphone and also I am listed on national do not call list.

IF you answer, they ALWAYS hang up. Obviously attempting to hack the DND listings. If you call the number, their mailbox to remove your number is ALWAYS full. They are a Sales/Marketing/Telemarketer call. Best bet? Short of filing criminal charges? www.donotcal.gov. File a Federal Telemarketing complaint against them.

I just called to be removed and asked why the calls were hanging up. The customer service rep said they use a predictive dialer. This is software that dials a bunch of phone numbers as once knowing that a certain % won't be answered. If they aren't quite accurate or if a call center rep isn't ready they just drop the call instead of playing a recording while you hold. They're pretty friendly and almost eager to take your name off their lists. An ounce of politeness will get you far with this company.

14:54 CST Caller ID indicates "Customer Link" as well. I work for a very large telecom company and did a little digging, Customer Link is not in good favor when it comes to federal regulations regarding consumer telemarketing and compliance with DNC listings. I filed a report with my land line service providor and the FCC.

HOW DID THEY GET MY CELL PHONE NUMBER?

I re-registered our cell phones a couple days ago for the do no call list, and this number started showing up. Very interesting how they start calling right afterwards. Something fishy with the DNC website, apparantly. Not sure how they think they will get my business for utilities. There is only one source for gas/water (the city itself) and only one source for electric here. They can't sell me a service they can't give me!
