My friend just called me from this number. He downloaded some app where he can mask his phone number or something. So basically it's a dummy number..
I was talking to a girl called Linda on OkCupid, who said she was a lesbian. We texted, and I gave her my number. She said she is an interior designer, 33 years old, with attractive photos. When she first called me, after 2 rings, the call got dropped. I called again, same thing. She called me back, with a difficult phone connection, and heavy Caribbean/ French accent. I got a bad feeling right away, and she aasked me how my day was. I told her I couldn't hear her so well. We got disconnected, and I immediately looked up the number to find this blog. Thanks to everyone for your help. Scammed definitely!
Poses as a lesbian on OkCupid, with pictures of a young, beautiful brunette, called herself Linda.
Definitely a scam! "Linda" has a lesbian profile on OkCupid, claiming to be 33 years old, interior designer from PA. Her photos are of an attractive young brunette, and she writes and expresses herself very articulate, intuitive, romantic and poetic. She tried calling me, the call got dropped. Same thing when I tried her back. Then she calls me, and it's a static, unclear phone connection. She had a heavy French/ Caribbean accent, sounded much older than 33 years old, and hard to talk with. The phone got disconnected. From the first hello, I had a feeling this was a scam, so I immediately looked up the number and found all this. I reported the profile to OKCupid. Thanks to all of you for this information.
I have been talking to this guy on match.com. He says his name is Thomas Antonini. He says he's from Milan, Italy. He says he works in the Dominican Republic as an architect working on an orphanage. He even sent pictures. The fly-fishing pics were a favorite for him. He claims to be a widower & moving back to the states in a few weeks. He called me from this number & I checked it out & found out it was linked to many scams. WHAT A SCAM! We didn't talk long enough for him to ask me for money. I hope others don't fall for his lies. I will be reporting him to every agency I can & I hope they catch this lying creep.
