Left no message - when dialing back number receive recorded message that number is not in serviceCalled me at : cell phone
I didn't answer and the only ID information was the location shown underneath of 'United States.' It's usually more specific. Reports on another website said that it was some kind of robocall, but I can't verify.
Suspect it's a scam...239 is noted as south Florida. I have no contacts in that area. I didn't answer.
This number just called me, 12:01pm 2/13/18 I see other people have been having issues with this number as well.
This number called me 3 times in a row. I've never had a robocall me 3 times back to back. I think it maybe a scam.
Calls periodically; never leaves a message; unavailable on call-back. This appears to be another car warranty insurance scam. Block the number!
She called my cell and knew my name. The caller ID identified her only as calling from Florida. (And I only answered because I was expecting a call from a legitimate business in Florida.) She offered to reduce my car insurance. I told her I wasn't interested and hung up. After that, I got 2 more calls from telemarketers in Florida using different numbers. I suspect it's all the same group -- one was "car insurance," one was "auto warranty" -- the third I didn't answer because I had already received the call I REALLY needed.
When they called, my Caller ID display showed no number -- just one word: ERROR. That, to me, is a red flag -- strongly suspect a scam artist. Said "hello" 2 or 3 times before caller came on line. As others have said, it sounded like a call center background. Caller asked for someone who doesn't live here. I called this number back about 15 minutes later -- first blocking my CID with *67. Got system report: "The number you have dialed is not in service." Tried again without CID block and got different system report: "No one is available to take your call. Goodbye." No doubt it's a sneaky operation.
Number called me twice. Each time I answered and said, "hello" twice before someone 'comes on the line'. I can hear its a call center, so I hang up. If you can't answer me when you're calling me in a timely manner, I assume its a scam.
This number called me today at 10:16am. Could not answer. Read previous entries. Will be blocking it too.Seems like FL numbers are frequently used for these unidentified, nuisance calls that come all hours of the day and night. Now have phone's ringer turned down during the day and turned off during the night since phone is for my convenience, nothing else.
