Blank call, no sound, no recordings, no voice. Nothing. When looking it up, it shows Athens (ON). I receive a LOT of blank calls calls from this area lately, all from different 613 numbers. I block them all, but they seem to find new numbers over and over ...

Got a call from Gena claiming to be an Officer of the Canada Revenue Agency.

Received message with no name claiming to be an office for Canada Revenue Agency and if We dont call to 613-927-9901 will cancel SIN #

Scam alert:A computerized voice says they are from CRA (Canada Revenue Association) and that my account has had a large lawsuit claim against it. They tell me to call them back immediately at the same number as on the caller-id and if I don't they will allow the lawsuit to happen and that will be attached to my SIN account forever and it will be impossible to get rid of it. So it is vital I call them back immediately.First of all, they don't give a name of who this is for and won't give any details until they know they have reached the correct person. They know other people could be at the same phone number so they are really careful at not giving out details of what the call is about.Second, my phone number that they called isn't registered with Canada Revenue. So that already is a big warning flag.Third, I don't see Canada Revenue acting as a mediator if you are being sued and if they did I don't see them using bullying language that if we don't comply they will allow the lawsuit to go through and that will destroy our account with CRA forever with no option to repair.Lastly, I don't see CRA leaving threats and all the details left to an automated system. Utering threats to destroy someone is a crime in Canada...they are not about to stick that in a pre-recorded message that could come back on them (at least with a live person they could say that person was out of line and not speaking on their behalf) but with a recorded message a boss is getting fired and I doubt they are that careless.

Complete scam !!! Their getting better as they think the CRA is located in Ottawa which it is not.Secondly they would never phone you.Thirdly they wouldn't tell you your being sued.I hope some of our elderly people do not reply to this.

Got the same call. They left a message and it sounds like they're saying the name Officer Gino Fagomez

I received a call claiming there was a revenue Canada law suit against me & instructed me to call this # asap or there would be a warrant put out for my arrest.
