I get these messages constantly! They are scams and no one ever files anything on you. I have been getting these for last couple years. Always a foreign voice and an American name. Don't waste your time calling them back people. They just want to try to get your information. No legit debt collection agency would say these things. Block the number and send to voicemail and then just delete. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION PEOPLE!!!!!!

I too was called by 240-821-6467 "Eric Foster" and was told I owed on a written off account. I was at the doctor's at the time and he kept rattling on, I asked for someone who spoke English, and he was the only one in the office, I need to write a letter so they wouldn't take me to court. I could pay 1087, now or 5087 if go to court. I said fine, I would write a letter, and I needed to know what to do, he then says he will have "the lawyer" call me. Sure enough, Gary Singer calls and says send him a money gram of 500 now, and we can work out the payments of the balance. I asked where to send it too, he gives me a name of David, in Moore Ok.. I then stopped by my credit union and talked to a loan office, we pulled up the numbers, and they both said scam, I then called the police, and gave a report, and getting ready to call The Attorney General. (after receiving the last call saying since I failed to send them money, I would be facing a felony charge, I have not heard from them since.

Person called me and said that they have a w a warrant out for my arrest.

There is NO warrant!!Debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter.Go to ftc.gov and read the FDCPA and learn your rights.

Very upsetting.. a indian guy threatening me and telling me I am going to jail.

"Brian Williams" just called me in an Indian accent wishing me luck as my case unfolds. Maybe if he spoke clear English I'd believe him. Loser!

I received same call this bright early morning. An Idian spoken individual. Couldn't quite understand what he was saying. At the end he wish me "good luck".
