It's Big Brothers Big Sisters for pickup of items for them to sell

They keep on calling on me its harassment

Big Brothers Big Sisters calls me on a regular basis, although I've asked them to remove my name from their list. I can, and do, choose for myself when I have items to give away and to whom to give. They have been calling me at this number for over eight years, and I have not once given anything to them via this route. I have, however, donated articles directly to Value Village and told them to credit the donation to BBBS.It really does make me sigh; in fact, I intend to have my land-line cancelled shortly, in large part because I primarily receive nuisance calls.

It is my understanding that Value Village is owned by Walmart. At any rate it is an American chain - not a charity - best give your stuff to Sally Ann.

I read the planetsmag article, and as I listen to CBC radio regularly, that would be where I heard the Walmart thing. Thought I could trust CBC. Calls I get on this phone # show only the # on call display, and give only silence upon answering. I get calls from BBBS that show as such on call display - are we sure this # is BBBS?

They only seem to have my fax number so that's fine by me

I find this number 385-7226 phones way too often....almost harassing. I feel the calls are disruptive and disrespectful of my privacy and quiet evenings. Please stop phoning me.

The calls from (250) 385-7226 appear to come late afternoon - 4:30-5:45 and when we lift the receiver there is no one there . . . very irritating and intrusive.
