Credit card scam

I got a call from the fools at 250-453-2289 claiming to know about my credit cards, so I pressed ONE to transfer to an "agent". When the guy picked up I asked him who he thought he was bugging me after 9pm with a fishing call... hung up on me, nice. And we are registered for the "Do Not Call List", how do they bypass it?

I missed the call, I like to know that who called me

Got the same message from that number. Best thing is to hang up!

Je viens aussi d'avoir un appel de ce numéro. On me parlait d'abaisser le taux d'intérêt sur une carte de crédit Mais le nom de la carte n'était pas mentionné et le message enregistré disait que c'était la 2e fois qu'ils appelaient et que c'était un avis final afin de prévaloir de cette promotion. LE MESSAGE ÉTAIT UNIQUEMENT EN ANGLAIS. J'ai appuyé sur le #1 comme demandé et l'agent m'a répondu en anglais. Je lui ai demandé s'il y avait quelqu'un qui parlait français....Et hop il a raccroché !Maudit qu'on est écoeuré de ces arnaques là ! :/

Just got a message from this number, no-one spoke again. The first call came from PEI then this one.

1 250-453-2289 No reply, just silent, i hung up and save it to my panasonic's phone "block-List", so the next time they call, the phone opens the line and quickly hangs-up. (so, this call comes from US as a long distance, every time they will calling me to Canada they will be charged for nothing).

Wanted to lower interest rate on credit card I asked him where he was calling from told me from the States I knew he was LYING cause area code is from BC I called him every name I could lay my tongue on including a slithering excuse for a human being if this was the only way he could make a living is conning people and I wanted him off my planet - Where the **** is the police - why ain't our useless politicians doing something to get rid of these pieces of ****

yet another call from annoying telemarketers/scammers/time-wasters. we are on the national do-not-call list and still get tons of these useless calls... as usual, this new number has been added to our call block. enjoy getting a busy signal and than being hung up on, scammers!!

I* just recieved another call from this number...when I asked what made them think I had credit cards I was told becuz I had a very sweet vioce...I then told the him to remove my number and he started saying he loved me etc etc...is this not haressment ...why can the politians stop this ...or the police????
