Lake Cowichan RCMP says its non-emergency phone number appears to have been spoofed and used to make unsolicited calls. The detachment has received calls from people saying they were called from the number — 250-749-6668 — but when the phone is answered the caller hangs up. Saying postal redelivery unit when called. What?
I didn't accept the call and they did not leave any voice message
I answered this one out of curiosity as I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. Another annoying robocall. This time claiming to be calling from Medicare.
Would give it zero stars if I could.
Because I didn't know who the caller was, I sent it to voicemail. The caller did not leave a message and hung up. I assumed it was another robo call and when I checked this site my assumption was confirmed.
