Looking for my husband and when I asked who was calling she got annoyed and said her first name. Then I asked where she was calling from she said N Carolina. So I then ask what’s this in reference to and she tries to verify my address and said she will tell me what this is regards to if I can verify my address. I told her not to call this number again and that people don’t verify information Willy nilly over the phone like that. And hung up on her She was very sarcastic.
This unidentified number called my office phone that I just activated a couple of months ago. I have not given this number out to anyone, and I also don't owe anyone any money, so they are obviously scammers who must be pulling my number from a database.
You could be right, but this is a company phone, and all the numbers in my department share the first three digits. Anyway, this number called me back today at about 3:00pm CST, and left no message.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
