This phone # called me about free money from the US Government. They got my name and phone number from some list they purchased. They informed me that I was awarded $14,8589.00 plus dollars and I had two choices. The first was give them my debit card and they would transfer the funds. I refused. Then the caller said you can buy gift cards because you have to load money on the card to activate it. . Please warn the public. Thanks Chris. I am out $3000.

They informed me that I was awarded $14,000.00 plus dollars and I two choices. The first was give them my debit card and they would transfer the funds. I refused. Then the caller said you can buy a prepaid card. Prepaid cards cost up to $15.00 because you have to load money on the card to activate it. When the caller called and asked if I had purchased the card. I said no, the merchant that I was trying to purchase card from refused to sell me the card when I told her this story. The caller then mentioned to me that I could purchase a netspend, greendot, or amex card and wouldn't have to put any money on any of those cards. Please warn the public. Thanks Chris
