Called twice, First call had laughter in the background. Hung up. Second call asked for a name. Then hung up.
Just called my home phone at 1118AM. A recorded female voice said "William???" I said "NO" very loudly and the there was silence for about five seconds, so I hung up. Caller ID said: UNITED BREAST CANCER.
United Breast Cancer was rated one of the country's worst charities by the Tampa Bay Times. The foundation's own web site says that they accept applications for grants for reconstructive surgery for women, but they charge a $50 nonrefundable fee/deposit just to apply. These scammer are real bad news!
Calls and asks for a name 3 or 4 times then says some stupid line to make the call seem personal - Annoying as can be
Called at 2:45pm CST. The caller ID only had a partial name "United Breast C" but I assume it's United Breast Cancer Foundation. It didn't sound like a robo voice to me but she just said "Jeffrey?" - that's my boyfriend's name but not the name he goes by. I told her she had the wrong number and she said something like they're calling everyone in the area so maybe I can help. I hung up.I feel like it's rude to be so personal like that when opening the call. They could at least ask, "May I please speak with Jeffrey?" I'm sure they've done market research and found it to be more successful than alternative openings.
I don't answer numbers I am not familiar with......And I am not familiar with this number......Blocking!

Received a text from this number today about their colon kit. As always with these types of texts, I block the number without responding and report it ass spam.
