Pause - beep - "goodbye" (in robotic girl voice) probably is AT&T , they are most annoying. When they say they are replacing your copper lines with fiber, don't believe it, they are lying, keep your current phone/internet and don't let them change to you to uverse or VoIP. Even if you switch and are careful they will still manage to sneak in extra charges and early cancellation fees on things you didn't know they signed you up for. How fun and exciting they are :[

I get this call atleast 3-4 times a day... I can't get them to stop calling. No one is ever on the line when I answer. I hear a beep and goodbye... then I call the number back and it takes me to voice msg. Holy Crap... STOP already... Reporting...

Received a call from this number from a person named "Jason", asking if I managed our AT&T bill. I tend to be careful who I talk to and so ask a few questions before allowing the call to commence, so after giving my name I asked who this was and what company they represented. "Jason" persisted in asking whether I was the person responsible for the AT&T bill, and when I asked him if he wished to sell us something, he retorted "I'd never want to sell YOU anything", and then probably muted me.I called back the number on my Called ID display using an alternate and securable number, and spoke with an Operator, who confirmed they were a company called "Wellfleet Communications", a call center, and that Jason worked there but was busy on another call at that time.

calls 3-4 times a day. Wants to speak to the person in charge of the ATT account. Doesn't appear to be any way to convince them not to call.

I get calls sometimes two or three times per day. Sometimes disconnects after a couple rings, before I can answer. When I do answer, it's a dead line or an instant hang-up. No sounds heard. Given my profession, I know that, if it's to a cell phone, such a call will create an entry in your "Call Data Record," or "CDR," that will give your approximate location, by virtue of the cell tower that your phone accesses. You can request your CDR from your carrier.

Virgin Communications trying to get me to switch from AT&T (which I like). I told him 3 times I liked the company that I had. He wanted to know why I didnt want to "save money" on my bill. Thanks but no thanks.

KEEP CALLING AND HANGING UP

These dumb [***] keep calling and hanging up. It's AT&T trying to see long distance calling packages.
