I just received this call and it started off "Attention seniors..." something about I was referred by a friend or family member to receive a medic alert system. I asked for the name of the company and the representative was rude and hung up on me
Selling medical alert systems + 'gift' of $1000 grocery card and 75% off medicine card!Second they picked up and asked who I was, I simply asked them where they received my number from. Immediately hung up on me with no response at all.Properly on the Do Not Call lists, so this is just another scammer/telemarketer who flaunts the law.
I am sick of this! Usually its just a call and no one there but sometimes it is a message selling something to Sr. citizensHow do you block it?
They call multiple times a day and when you answer it's a recorded message that starts off with "Hello seniors." The say you have been referred to them by a friend and they are attempting to give you a wheelchair at no cost. First of all, there's no way I was referred by a friend since they all know I'm in my 30's and nowhere close to a senior. Once you get through the message it says push 9 to opt out, which I have done numerous times. Finally I pushed 1 to talk to a representative and when one finally came on the line I asked her to take my number off the list and stop calling me and that I was not interested. She immediately hung up on me. I am still receiving the calls and now when I press 1 for a representative the call immediately ends. At this point I view these phone calls as harassing. No one referred them to me and they know I don't want them to call me.
"Hello seniors. Due to new laws, you are eligible for healthcare coverage....."5th time in two days I had received a call from this number. Added it to my reject list.
