Carnival links my online past guest account...when I search cruises, they usually call & email me. I like the higher level of customer service, so the calls don't bother me. To make them stop, I answer & talk to them or I email & let them know I'm not planning travel now...or when in the future would be a good time to try me again. The bookmark it and call me when I ask them.

Then stop logging onto your account, then they wont know you are online. If you dont want them to contact you, please call Carnival customer service and tell them you need to speak to someone about keeping the Personal Vacation Planners from calling you.

I didn't pick up

This is the number for Carnival Cruise lines, which is a legitimate company. A call from this number could be from a Personal Vacation Planner who works for them (similar to a travel agent and are highly recommended by travelers), from someone to offer a cabin upgrade or upsell. It could also be a call from the special needs dept or from someone regarding an emergency w/a family member on board a ship. This is NOT a telemarketing number and their employees are NOT telemarketers. If you get a call from a PVP and you no longer want to hear from them, please call Customer Service and request to be connected w/the dept that can help remove the PVP from your account.

When I returned the call I heard what sounded like a fax machine signal.

I recently registered with the Carnival website, so that makes sense. They did not leave a message

I was shopping around for Cruise Vacations for my husband and I, including Carnival. We decided to go with a different cruiseline and I informed our contact that we've gone ahead and booked our vacation with someone else. Someone from this number (Carnival) calls me at least 3 times a day, SCREAMING my name into the phone when I pick up and continues to talk over me when I tell them that I have asked to be removed from their calling list and that I have gone with a competitor. This has been happening for about two months. I was finally able to block both numbers they call me from!
