Just received a call from this number, and I immediately googled it to see who it was... I wasn't thrilled when I found out it was Carnival. I signed up for e-mails from Carnival Cruise Lines yesterday because I am looking into taking a cruise with them next year. I specifically remember unchecking the "receive calls about specials/cruises" option. The voicemail was pleasant enough, but I don't appreciate Carnival calling me when I asked them not to.

It is a solicitation call from Carnival Cruise Lines. They call so damn often now, that I open and close the phone line just to make the phone stop ringing. They have already called four times thus week!!! We have used Carnival in the past, but because of their unprofessional approach to seeking business, we are not likely to use them again. I've told them to STOP CALLING in the past -- they must be too stupid to get the message!

I got a phone call and the lady was very polite and was checking to see if I had all my travel and health insurance in order and if I had a phone number for last minute changes in sailing. I told her we had everything in place and that the night before sailing we'd be at a certain hotel if they needed to get a message to us. She thanked me and we had a short (maybe 5 minute) pleasant chat about several things. I felt it was a good call to receive.

Caller didn't leave a message, but from other posts on this site, it makes sense that it's Carnival Cruises.

Just received a call at 10:40 at night!! Looked it up and it was Carnival. Leave me alone.

This is Carnival Cruise Lines reservation department. I didn't recognize the number either, so wanted to add more here. They will call you if you click on one of their emails or visit their web site and give them your phone number. Past cruisers may also get calls every time they have specials or new offers. They do not leave messages on the answering machine however.

Their "specials" when they call you are sometimes contrived. I believe it is better to do your homework, diligently check the web sites and travel agents and get the best deal on your own, and not when they call you. But that just how I do it. They love to call if you visit their web site or click on links in their emails.

I just purchased two Carnival gift cards yesterday. The message left was simply a courtesy call to let me know their phone number if I have any questions concerning my purchase. I think it is nice that they place a call after the sale. Good customer service!!
