I got a call this morning. I don't answer if I don't know who is calling... But sounds like a scam.
I continue to receive these calls on a cell phone as well as my husband on his cell phone. We both have it set up for auto reject. These calls, and from numerous numbers automatically goes to vm. Eventually they will be caught. By calling a cell phone they are violating the TCPA. We have already gone after several other callers for doing the same thing. Especially from collectors (of debt we do not owe, proved it, but they still had to pay us for violating the regulations).We love our blocking and auto reject, doesn't cost us a thing. Free from our carrier.
It is a scam. If they are calling your cell phone, you can the number auto reject, so it doesn't disturb you, will automatically go to vm. These idiots will never learn, but sadly there are victims who believe this stuff. Everyone should beware. Do not answer numbers you don't know. Common sense.
Received a call this morning and answered. Automated system offering health care insurance. Given the option to press 1 and speak to an agent or press 2 and be added to do not call list.
American Health that is what it says on my caller Id and no they didnt even leave a message.

I called the Chase number on the back of my card and they said they had NOT called me, said it was scammers. I had two calls on my machine asking me to call them back.

Claim to be discover card. I don't have that disreputable card and haven't had one for 20 years, so they have no reason to call me. Very suspicious.
