Also getting these calls in Canada. Just started 5 days ago (Feb/15/09) and have occured about 3 times a day. Same thing being described above - phone rings, I pick up, and no one is there. One time I got a message from that number but it was only a woman saying "hello... hello... hello". As in "are you there"? No accent to speak of. very strange. would love to know what this is all about.

Surveyor called to ask a few questions. A man with non-English accent called a week later. Wanted to provide me with complimentary gift for participating in survey (set of knives OR 3 nights accommodations vacation). Wanted my address, and said they would deliver the package (if only I took a few minutes of my time to take a look at their product at that time). Suspicious, so reported it to Toronto Police.

I got the exact same message from the exact same caller. Did the police say anything? I asked for his name and he said it was Micahel Casabuena from Crystal Eagle in Mississauga. He gave me a number for the company and it checked out. Foreign non-European accent. Possibly Asian of some sort.

GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER LIKE SO MANY OF YOU IT WAS A MAN WITH A HEAVY MIDDLE EAST ACCENT AND ALSO I HAVE RECIEVED CALLS FROM THE WOMAN. THIS IS A WORK LINE THEY KEP CALLING, CLAIM TO BE ATT WANT TO SPEAK TO THE OWNERS.I TELL THEM THEY ARE NOT HERE AND THEY WANT TO TALK TO SOMEONE ELSE THAT CAN MAKE OVER THE PHONE DESCESIONS.WHEN THEY FIND OUT THAT THEY ARE NOT GOING TO GET TO TALK TO ANYONE THEY SAY WILL KEEP CALLING BACK. HOW THEY CAN SHOW A NUMBER THAT IS DISCONNECTED. HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A WEB SITE CALLED SPOOF??? YOU SET UP AN ACCOUNT WITH THIS WEB SIGHT CALL A NUMBER, YOU HEAR AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE DIRECTING YOU TO INPUT WHAT NUMBER YOU WANT TO SHOW UP ON THE ID OF THE PERSON YOU ARE CALLING,VERY SIMPLE IT CAN BE ANY NUMBER TOO.FUN IF USED IN THE WAY INTENDED. BEWARE DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO TO THIS PEOPLE. NEXT TIME THEY CALL SAY FROM WERE EVER YOU ARE FROM SO AND SO FBI OR CIA HEADQUARTERS SEE HOW FAST THEY HANG UP.THEY WILL STOP CALLING. HOPE THIS HELP.

I have received many calls from this number 307-215-1001, Casper WY. The woman, who does sound Indian (dot not feather) claims to represent AT&T and says our discounts are expired and that we need to renew them. Upon calling AT&T C.S. they inform me that our discounts as stated in our signed 3yr contract are not expiring of course. I have threatened this person with legal action and screamed at them to stop calling. This was over a week ago. Today March 2nd 2009 at 10:04 am I got another call. This is some 3rd party business that does nothing but call people representing other businesses. If anyone finds out contact info and address for these people please let me know. Thank you.

same middle eastern guy claiming to be from AT&T. I asked him to stop calling and he got all huffy and wanted to argue. Didn't sound like at&t to me. They do call all the time but are always polite when I tell them to stop calling.. not that it's ever done any good.. Anyway I told him to stop calling and hung up. 30 seconds later a woman with the same accent calls back and sounds down right angry at me. I demanded her name, she said Lindsey, I asked if there was a an employee number or some way to identify her and she hung up

Got keep getting calls from 307-215-1001 - no one on the line - no message - I live in CT and don't know anyone in Wyoming
