nearly daily calls from this number. Cannot be blocked by Verizon call blocking service. I have tried pick-up/hang-up system I read but this is not stopping any of the computer-generated calls.
Same thing ... called, didn't answer, no message left. Thanks to all of you, I blocked the (spoofed) number. No more problems.
These people called again today. I decided to answer and play dumb to get their company name. BE VERY CAREFUL..THEY ARE GETTING TRICKY. They kept saying my name and saying "Hellooo? Are you there? Hello? Al, You there?" THEY WANT YOU TO SAY THE WORD "YES" SO THEY HAVE IT RECORDED TO CLAIM YOU GAVE THEM PERMISSION TO CALL AND/OR COME TO YOUR HOUSE FOR AN ESTIMATE!! Be careful and don't say "Yes". Just don't answer.
Why do these pests always call at dinner time?Answered the phone so I could harass THEM but they hung up as soon as I answered.Someone should blow up the place where these guys operate; no jury would convict the bomber.
