This call came in on my Cell Phone, I answered it because I thought that it might be from my buddy who lives in Detriot. I did not punch the numbers it said to and just let them go and hang up on me. then I called the number back and got the message that the number was Verison and had been changed or disconnected and was no longer in service. How do you say ILEGAL SCAM!
I received a call from 313-910-5940 and I didn't answer it. They did not leave a message.I called the number back and the message said the number has been changed, dis-connectedor is no longer in service. If I had the time and the money, I'd hire a "SHARK" attorney tonail these idiots and send a message!
I got a call from this number a few minutes ago. It was a pre-recorded robocall stating that I won a cruise to the Bahamas. It instructed me to press 1 to take a survey to claim my "prize" or press 9 to be removed from their list and stop receiving calls from them. I pressed 9 and then filled a complaint to the FCC.I highly recommend everyone that receives these and any other type of spam call to report them to the FCC. Every time I have done so, the calls immediately stop. Even when I threaten the caller that I'm reporting them to the FCC, they apologize profusely, tell me they'll never call again, and they never do. I still report them though.
Recording for a free trip they harass on my home phone now my cell. What good is the do not call list.
After 3 rings I answered. Nothing from the other end, "Hello... strike one! Hello... strike two! Hello... strike three, good bye!"This caller is now blocked with a fast busy tone from my computer using CallClerk software.
Received a call from this # to my cell yesterday and they left no message. The odd thing, when I went into my cell account and checked things as I sometimes do some of my personal information had been changed. I know I didn't do it. Does anybody know if this is some type of phishing through the cell number? I don't check my account info daily so perhaps it was changed prior to this but sure seems suspicious. Today I received a call from the same number to my landline, again no message. I better go check that account info just in case.
Haven't you heard they are using spoofed phone numbers that's why you can't call them back it's not a real number.
My theory on this caller: They are checking numbers to see if they are blocked or are hooked to a telephone. They probably build a list of numbers to use or market to others.
