Basically this is Verizon calling to sell you a phone without a contract

Yes verizon saying I'm due for update wanting me to buy.......figures.

It was hard to get back to them, but I eventually was successful. They are working off of an on outdated list of people eligible for upgrades. I wound up hitting good combination of keys to get a person on the line, and then said we'd just upgraded 2 weeks ago, and the representative apologized for having outdated information and promised to not call again.... So... Verizon trying to turnover old contracts. But robo-calling to do it.

Scammer pretending to be Verizon wireless in attempts to steal personal information. I called Verizon to verify it was not them. Go to www.verizonwireless.com/support/fraudprevention to report any calls claiming to have promotions. Verizon manager said they only call if you haven't paid a bill.

Verizon... They called to say i am due for an upgrade (which I am) They wanted to let me know there is a store in my area that is having a special. They wanted to upgrade me right there on the phone but I told them I will do it in my own time at a store nearest me.
