Calling for 5/3 bank, about a charge on credit card; wanting a return call to number.

5/3 bank trying to verify activity on my credit card. They left a voice mail.

Fifth Third Bank trying to verify suspicious activity on our account. Gave rep name and legitimate call back number. Was able to verify information without me giving any.

Seemed to be Fifth Third. They were able to tell me transactions that happened on my card.

Fifth Third calling about suspicious activity on my credit card. She verified my info and explained reason for calling. Explained about 5-6 fraudulent charges made in the last day on my card in another state.

Phone number was not identified on screen except for the number. Voice mail left identified the caller as someone with 5th Third wanting to verify credit card usage.

53 Bank (?). A guy named Dennis said they froze my card due to suspicious activity. He could unfreeze my card if i gave him the three digit code on the back of the card.I did not give that info and said i'd wait and go to my bank in person.

5/3RD calling (only when 5/3RD had called in the past, the number was listed as 5/3RD, not an 888 Service Number) A message was left on my voicemail about my credit card. I'll be stopping in at the bank tomorrow to validate.

DEFENITELY A SCAM. They fake the number to look like 5/3rd. Called to verify suspicious activity, had my address and last 4 of the card number. Wanted to verify my details. The only problem is that I don't have an account with 5th 3rd. I hanged up and called 5/3rd fraud prevention number that I found online. They had no information on me, couldn't find my account by my name, phone number or social. BE AWARE.

Fifth third bank calling about suspicious charges. I was asked to verify some info but did not have to provide any outright. I later validated by calling fifth third directly.
