Received a couple of calls from 3236784658, they left message that my SSN is linked to a crime? never heard that kind of an pitch before. Called them back to see what there scam was but someone answered and then hung up when I asked what they wanted..

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.

Evidently gets next if kin names from obituaries and calls them all, over and over. Will not say what they are calling about until you give birthdate and ssn of the deceased.
