This phone number is being used by the "Church" of Scientology. They are basically not as concerned about you as they are concerned about making their quota of phone calls each week. So add this number (and other phone numbers they use) to your call screening service, if you have this as an option. FYI: The people part of this group will not stop calling because they are in denial of the negative results of their persistent, unempathetic, robotic & scripted telephone (and mail) promotionals. There is some useful information they can offer. But they ignore simple requests to be left alone, refuse to share their information freely & openly so it can be tested and researched for its valid usefullness. They generally believe they are entitled to intrude into other's lives - because 'we need their help' thus they could be considered mentally ill.

Called my # asking for my father in law... I'm like how did you get my phone number he hasn't been involved with these people for well over 10 yrs & my number is less than 2 yrs old. When I asked how they got my # they said they pay people to look for their info. Retards.

If it is scientology shame on them. When I lived in NYC 35 years ago I went to a couple of their meetings with a friend who was one. I never told them i was interested. Since then I moved out of the state and lost contact with that friend but i stll receive their fliers. Now i don't know how the got my home and cell # and keep calling. What a hassle.

Religious people don't harass? Jehovah's Witness. Are they not religious? Jehovahs are religious and are also incredibly irritating just like any religion. What a waste of time and how lazy are these people to believe in a sky daddy. It's just a way for people to commit crimes but blame an invisible, make-believe omnipotent [***]. Bottom line, all religions harass in some way.

The cult of Scientology has used my number, my husband's number, the last two addresses at which we have lived for junk mail and persist to this day. After years of returning to sender, calling back and telling (not asking) to cease calling because he is not the Bruce for whom they are looking, they dont give up. I just received another call 10 minutes ago from this number. It is out of Los Angeles. Why dont they just go after the celebs if they want donors? Leave us average people alone, WE WANT NO PART OF WHAT YOU OFFER!!!

No that does not work. Once they have your number whether its a wrong number or right number whatever they will continue harassing you. These people can't be reasoned with. Make a tone by pressing a button on your phone. Tell them you are recording this call. Ask if they want to continue. Then ask them for their name and the spelling of their name. Then ask them for their tax id number 1099 or social security number. Say you don't talk to Business or Church personnel without their 1099 number. At this point they should start getting flustered. Keep them off balance by asking them questions. If you tell them they have a wrong number they 1. Don't believe you. 2. Don't care and will continue the harassment until the Second Coming of Christ. They don't care. They have no respect for the rights of others. They think hunting the person is sport and hunting the trail of the person meaning all those people who get the phone or move to the address of the person who tries to ditch Scientology. That's just as good too.
