A person named Chris wanted to make a cash offer on my mother's property after she died. No response when texted back. Apparently have done this several times before.

My father just died and a man who refers to himself only as Chris (no last name) texted my grieving brother telling him he wants to buy my father's property for cash. Scammer I am sure. The text came from a part of the state where we know no one. I cannot find this person in reverse look up.
