Got a phone call from 336-228-6986. I did not answer and they did not leave a message

I received a call from this number.From the voice of his accent, I can clearly tell that it's an Indian trying hard to speak english...

Rcv'd a call on my cell phone, (which has been provided to no one in monetary services) but didn't answer, wanting to check it out on this list first.Do get similar message as described in above complaints on my landline's answering machine. However, I have cheapest service, so do not have caller ID.In the recent past I called the phone company about nuisance calls I was getting from a bill collector at all hours, which I had *69ed [which they charge you for] . After listening to my story, any my asking how I could file a complaint, was told "I'm not sure, maybe call your local police?" , I asked if I could get a log of the calls, she rattled off a list of services that were possible, then asked "so, should I sign you up for that package?". I was floored, this whole time I had been talking to a salesman, there is no other "help" available with Southern Bell (or whatever name they go by now..) If it wasn't for 911, I'd get rid of my landline totally, it no longer even has a clear line...Sorry, unrelated rant at the end there...

Pressed 1, asked to be put on the "Do Not Call" list. The operator just said "Why?" I repeated myself. He said "WHY? WHY? W-H-Y? WHY?" -- not kidding, he broke character in a heartbeat. I just replied "Because I'm asking you to." The sheep just muttered "I don't know" and hung up. I tried calling back (because I'm a glutton for bitching people out when I'm in the right), but the number wouldn't connect.They're scammers. They're idiots. They're the bane of society. I hope they call Liam Neeson from Taken on an off day.

Don't answer or hang up. It's just a credit card scam.

This number 336-228-6986 is constantly calling my cell. I refuse to answer any numbers I don't recognize

Called cell phone. No message.

i was not at home - they did not leave a messege, so I do not know what company they were calling from.
