Tried to scam me. Asked if I was there I said yes like an idiot and then they hung up
I just received a call from this number saying they were with the Veterans Assistance Group. As for a credit card number. I declined.
wanted e mail address, and info about computer, Told him I didn't have time to talk. He asked when a good time to call back, asked him what time zone he was in call ended
I said hello. Male voice asked "Hi, is Ernest there?" I asked, "who's calling?". They hung up.
Ignored and ill tell you all why. When (at least on my Vorizon Droid) if the answer button shows round and prompts to "swipe" to answer it's a VOIP Internet call (scammer) if the button is [square] "press to answer" it's from a real phone at least.
Really?!? Called at dinnertime on Mother’s Day. I never answer unless a name from my contact list comes up. Thank you to all the people who post here for their input.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.

Rec'd call from a local number in my state. Also a notice about noncompliance for a family member of mine. Gave this 844 number as a call back. Same scam.
