Called and wanted to know if I had placed a $77 Amazon order. Called back twice and there is an answer then hangs up.

Robocall claiming I had placed an order this with Amazon morning (not!) and to call this number if I hadn't placed an Amazon order. I went to my Amazon account, found no order outstanding then researched the telephone number online and, thankfully, found this website right away. Thanks to you who manage this site and others like it!

Automated message said they were from Amazon Customer Support - and if I bought something for $77.97 then ignore the message, otherwise call them at (361) 213-0062 Strongly suspect phishing attempt and fraud behind this.

This is a scam. I called them back and said, “this call is being recorded and I want to speak to a supervisor.” They hung up on me.
used pretext of a suspicious Amazon charge on my account and then tried to get me to download an application to provide them remote control of my computer to "resolve the issue" repeatedly asked to speak to a supervisor because I felt confused and uncomfortable with the request and repeated requests for the access to supervisor were denied called Amazon and learned obviously that this was phishing.
Received call from Amazon saying that I purchased a $99.00 gift card, If not then call them back. When I did because I didn't purchase it they said they were Amazon and tried to get information. Indian accent, lots of noise in background (aka call center). I let them know i did not purchase the card and told them that they were not Amazon because if they were they would not be asking personal info. Do not give in to these scammers. My bank also confirmed that nothing has been withdrawn, Thank God. Calling Amazon tonight about phone call.

I called my bank, and they confirmed that this call was from their fraud department. It was legitimate. But I don't understand what your star rating system is, the five stars above the "Report" blue rectangle. What is it rating?

This appears to be a scammer masquerading as a Canadian Tire agent. Do not give any personal information, or better yet, do not answer.

Claims to be from a roofing team. Somehow knows real name and city. I keep getting texts like this from different numbers, they stop responding when I ask how they have my number.
