Claimed someone had ordered something from Amazon on my account. I hung up and contacted Amazon.

I received the same message saying they wanted to verify my Amazon order using a Visa card to make sure I had placed it (that it wasn't fraudulent). I accidentally deleted the message very quickly and came here to check it out to make sure it really wasn't coming from my bank/Visa issuer. Glad to confirm it was a scam message.

According to my log, has called 10 times since 2023, always a new caller ID, this one came up as TellCityHall but same number, and at 9:49pm ffs.
