Caller asks for personal information and does not identify himself. Wants my name and credit card or bank account number. Will give no information. Will not identify himself or the company he works for but makes the claim that this is a recorded line for "legal reasons". Very suspicious. No legitimate company or entity operates this way

My calls were being forwarded to this number and I have no idea how it happened.
They hung up. In the last ten days I've had unauthorized credit card charges and an identity theft related to a Medicare fraud case. I suspect this is related.
