Yep! He’s still at it, currently with me. Thank goodness I listened to my gut and looked up his phone number. Met on Meet Up. His name is Mark Scott and is a single Dad of a 14 year old daughter and is currently in Montana and is relocating to AZ. What a JERK! Do not give him money ladies.

Same here. His phone call is Jamaican. Should I change my cell number? He may call someone using my number. This guy was still on meetup as of July and removed two days ago.

He also said his first name is Luke

He sent me a picture of him cooking in a kitchen. That kind of kitchen is not from US. He had Jamaican accent, not London English, he said he has Polish and British accent, this number could be from any where. He texted me but when I want to FaceTime me, he said he on Android. So? Some thing about that number. You can not text from AT&T’s landline.

SAME experience: fraud “Anderson Igor Copper” widow raising 14 year old daughter named Claudia. He contacted me via Meetup and said he was relocating from Montana to Greatfalls VA. Has a sister named Amy and brother-in law named Brian. He sent me a couple of photos and I sent some to him as well. Thankfully I didn’t give him any money. I did a reverse lookup on some of his photos and if I saw him in a meetup group I reported him to the group leader as a fraud/scammer. My fear is that he is now going to use my information to try and scam a guy with my photos:/ Wished the police could find this guy. Feel free to reach out to me for additional information.

Oh, my gosh! I don’t know why this isn’t one of the first websites that pops up when you research this name! I was contacted by the same person on a “Meet Up” site. He had the exact same story about being an engineer & having a 14-year-old daughter. He can’t write proper English, yet he claims he is from London. I am so glad I found this website & I thank all of you for sharing your experiences!!

Ok so this just happened to me. His name he said is MARK from Montana. Really nice and moving to my area as an engineer. He was on the meet up page ..... Trust is hard these days

In January this person starting texting me, he is very polite and charming. He indicates he is moving to your local area and wants to meet new people. He told me his wife had died and it was just him and his daughter, he called her Claudia. Something didn't sit right with me so I researched his number and found the above complaints. They were very similar to what he told me. I sent him a text that said, "hey I found something interesting I thought I would share with you". I attached this link of the scam complaints. I haven't heard from him since. BEWARE of this individual
