You must all have received calls from someone spoofing the real owner of the #. This is Geico - Homeowners Insurance. We requested quote, so for us not a spoof or harassment.

I keep receiving voice mails from this number and its bugging the crap out of me. First my boyfriend was getting voicemails, BUT NO ACTUAL CALL. when we listen to the voicemail there is nothing there, no sound or anything. The called ID says Billings, Montana. I screenshotted the voicemail number and i looked it up on google and im very glad i found this site! I wonder if there is a way i can block the voicemails from coming... freaky [***].
i got a call from a 888 number but this is the number that showed up in my voicemail said it was excel energy and when i looked up there number and called them directly the voice mail said exactly what the excel energy rep said it would say. so i dont know if its a real or fake number
Ya they always call and it never rings, they always leave voicemails and so i finally checked it todya and one of the voicemails was like a kid with a raspy voice telling me to confirm my order for some dumbass product, not a recognizable voice either
It would depend on what they wanted. If it was an actual Excel Energy issue, it may be a "real" number. If it wasn't an Excel Energy issue, then it was "fake". If they didn't leave a message, I would lean toward scam.
This number alters my call log to show it as my outgoing call rather than a received call. Very upsetting that this fraudulent caller can manipulate my phone in this manner!
This person using this phone number +1-140-927-1001 is from Nigeria goes by as Robert Kostas who happens to be a professional scammer along with his accomplices.
