I got the similar call about $299 being pulled from my account for a subscription to Microsoft. If I wanted to can cancel I would have to fill out a cancellation form (probably asking for credit card info.), I told him I don't have a subscription and I will not fill anything out and I will not pay and he hung up.
I received two robo-voicemail today indicating $299 would be pulled from my "account" for a subscription and that I needed to call them. I have no subscriptions with anyone and they certainly do not have any of my account information. I did not call back.
i got this call last week and again this week telling me to go to my computer to cancel a 299.00 dollars for firewall i told them no. then this week he saye to get on computer to stop as this is coming from my account. i said i have no account and he said i do. he said he works for micro-soft and 299 was being billed to me and i hung up on him.
