Wanted to deduct $299 from my bank account for my computer firewall. Called the number back and someone answered saying they were from microsoft! I hung up!
Called me at 7:00 AM. I didn't answer. When I called back later, the call was picked up, but no one on the other end said anything. In the background I could hear a couple guys BS'ing with each other in what sounded like their garage. I'm half tempted to call back again just to toy with them for my entertainment.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
