Mistake was actually attending York University and providing an update of our profile.

Just got a call from this number. This time it was to update Health Card information. So don't please don't associate these calls with any reputable organization (like York U.). They appear to be phishing for information and will (apparently) use any angle to get you to divulge it.

this number called twice: at 4.53 and at 5.32. The first time I was not at home to answer it but is shows on my "missed calls" . The second time, I picked up the phone but no one said anything.... it was totally silent. I waited 30 seconds and just hang up....

Was just called by above # but did not answer at approx 3:27 on Sunday; so as no message left not important. Hopefully if seeking business they realize we are the ones who choose who we buy from and not the way they are soliciting business.If it is York U., well, we gave a long time ago and we donate to animal charities and animal protection organizations as well as environmental purposes which are in need of conservation and preservation at all times. Shouldn't university fees be reduced as it will help the economy flourish in the near to long term?

Picked up the first time, York asking to donate money and provide job info. Keep calling for the next few weeks to confirm if i had spoken to them before. Sometimes the calls come in on a weekend at 9pm, which is unbelievable. It's enough that the book costs 5 times the amount it costs to make, the parking is as expensive as Yorkville, the tuition is going up substantially, and on top of that they want more money from you AFTER you have graduated?? Someone is getting richer and richer. Nope, it's not you.

stop f*cking calling York u alumni or scammer or whoever you are. Makes me regret going to York after graduated 6 years ago!If you are rather concern, how graduates are doing in their career post York, then stick with the topic when calling. AAHH you are so right!!!!They kept sending me emails too so I wrote back to one telling them to F**** OFF!!!If they really wanted their Alumni to be successful they would help them with their careers and getting there and give more information then us struggling to find what workshop to go to post-grad. If they were more helpful with their graduates finding success I would feel more obliged to give but they dont

Tell them to take you off their list and that you do not wish to be contacted further. It IS from the York University Alumni Association.... and they are responsible enough to comply. You could also call them anonymously and tell them that they keep calling your number even though "you" never went to York and to stop calling, or that it was a student tenant at your phone number who no longer lives there. While dishonest, yes, you sometimes have to stoop lower than you otherwise might to stop the annoyance. Lastly, get a call blocker and train it with that number.
