I received a call from 416-756-2096 on my cell phone, caller unknown. I have a pay-as-you-go cell phone and do not want these types of calls. I did not answer it so I can not definitely name the caller.

I get calls from these guys all the time now. I was working for Apple and had an apprenticeship offered free as I worked there through Niagara College. They also offered a $300 Loan for Tools program, they loan you $300 for anything that will help you with your job/apprenticeship. Well, I was one of the unlucky few that got fired before new labour laws came into effect (literally the day before) and before I could repay the loan. I haven't been able to get a job since, (no references) and am now in collections for $288. This is a very small amount but when you are in this kind of situation it might as well be one million dollars. I can't even pay my utilities each month or keep food in the house. I even tried going back to school to help my job search and nothing. These guys call me all day, morning to night and from almost 10 different numbers from around the world.

I have been receiving calls from this number and other toll free numbers, but they are all from TCR concerning "a personal matter in my office that needs to be taken care of immediately before the situation escalates". I am not making payments to TCR but rather to the company I owe. They call me during working hours when I can't take personal calls. Do they not have other people to call?

This number keeps calling my house and they never leave a message and I never pick up. They call at all hours of the day and night starting as early as 7:00 A.M. This has to be a scam, most legit credit agencies will ALWAYS leave a message so you know that they are trying to reach you so they can get money from you. As well since when do credit agencies open before 7:00 A.M???

These people buy out old loans and try to recover money. They don't care how they talk to people. They use scare tactics. Just hang up.

They keep on calling me every night I ask them a copy of what I own sent to my address but they refused to sent how much I own and payment plan

It's a scam people! Don't give them your info!

they call all the time, I never answer, they don't ask for a persons name or give any valid file numbers or describe the "debt" screw them

Not a scam, they're a collection agency for the Govt of Canada - for things like OSAP loans etc.
