They are trying to get you to come to a seminar to get you out of a timeshare. They say they will terminate it. They will charge you about 5k. Then, they will attempt to sell it for about 2k. If they can't, they will sell or give it back to the resort, which you can do yourself, simply by threatening litigation for their high pressure techniques or lies.
I haven't answer this number...they never leave a message..just keep on calling....and calling...Every day...we don't know how to block them!!!
These people are pieces of [***] who run this scam! I have been called constantly for weeks and they will not stop calling me. They look for someone called Florence. Anytime I ask to be removed they just hang up. When I tell them that obviously a Florence gave them a wrong number they say ok and hang up then I get more calls again. I hope they all [***] die and horrible slow death. [***] scum of the earth all of them.
Getting many calls a day as everyone else... finally talked to someone and asked nicely if they'd take us off their list and not call anymore and he said "I DON'T HAVE TO, WE'RE NOT SELLING ANYTHING" ... when I told them I did NOT want to sell my timeshare (that's their business buy/selling timeshares) he said "LADY, YOU'RE THE FIRST ONE THAT DOESN'T WANT TO SELL" ... I'm pretty sure he'll keep calling as he knows I don't want him too, just to bug me ... very rude!
They called my parents and talked them into giving them a credit card information to reserve seats at their seminar. My parents thought they were talking to the timeshare management company, not some third party. RCI completely misrepresented themselves on the phone call -- which is a violation of both state and federal law. When I called them, they hung up on me as soon as I started to explain why I was calling -- to cancel the seats at their seminar. Then every time I called back from that same number, they would not answer the phone (I assume RCI has caller ID). RCI now has the credit card information, so we're having to get a new card issued -- what a pain this organization is. Reporting them to the State Attorney General Consumer Fraud Department -- is the least that I can do to them. This kind of predatory actions on seniors is reprehensible at best, and perhaps criminal. The key is that they will not answer my phone calls -- they KNOW that they are committing fraud - absolutely do not do business with these people under any circumstances.
