Research complete!Mountain Area Magazines ARE NOT BBB ACCREDITED and the rating is F!Any call to your offices are redirected to "Subscription Services," who claim to only handle accounts, boasting about their B+ BBB rating. They must have rated themselves, because THEY ARE NOT BBB ACCREDITED either!Nice racket your company/ies are running...you do your dirty work under names such as Mtn Area Magazines, Mtn Area Communications, and many more names, and then make stupid threats at people who find you out.

I was taken by them for almost a year before i caught on i have called to cancel so then they would go under another name on my account. Two said just "Magazines" the other was called "Mountain Area Comm." of course I only subscribed for one and somehow I had three companies going after me for the same subscription. And they all got paid. So i tried to call them and the number was disconnected. Go figure! However I was able to block them all through my bank as a fraudulent accounts.No more magazine subscriptions for me.

The number you listed is no longer in service. Apparently, the lies and fraud caught up with them...what a scam.

So just so every one knows this company closed 3/15/2013. I called 1-877-875-2098 and spoke to a rep. who i asked to close my account and she said they were closed as of the 15th so I asked if you were closing why would you try to take money out of my account on the 14 and the 15. she had no response and she said there was no one to talk to. I just wanted to share this info for anyone else who needed advice about them or a current phone number for the time anyway. good luck i suggest to just block all magazine companies from you account and buy from the stand.
