Ya....this is a scam...i received the same text message...when i called they asked for a 16 digit acct number...i gave 1234567898765432 and the auto voice said incorrect and they ended call
Received a text message from 505300@sprint.net on my cell stating "Hello. We tried to contact you. Account 5287.15xx - issue. Call (435) 256-6654" received 3:24P Saturday, 02/19/2011. I called the number from a different phone and a recorded message stated it was a bank (name not given) and to enter a 16-digit account number to "reactivate your card."
I too got a text message from 505300@sprint.net. It said "Hello.We tried to contact you.Account 5287.15xx - issue.Call (435)-256-6654" I called the number and it wanted my 16 digit card number. A recording said something about reactivating my card. I hung up.
I work for Sprint. This IS NOT FROM SPRINT! Sprint would NEVER call and ask for your account info--- if it is really Sprint they already have it!

I got a text saying Hello. We tried to contact you. Account JP 5371.70xx-issue. call 435-256-6654.And of course when I called to find out what rotten account they might be talking about, some stupid machine says. "we will ask you for five pieces of information" and they ask for my debit account # and I start laughing...seriously? Why would I give my debit account number to some machine that hasn't even given me a logical reason as to why it needs it....I hate you scammers so much...do you honestly never consider maybe making your own money and not just swiping it from others who actually work honestly for it

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
