United Health Care insurance - keep insisting on house call.

This health insurance is going to loose a lot of customers if they continue this annoying calls I m ready to exit

I received a call at my work phone number saying they were from United Healthcare and wanted to make a house call. I stated I don't have United Healthcare and told them they have the wrong person. I have repeatedly received phone calls at work from these people.

I agree with you! I have been getting these calls for over a year now . I answered once and the person on the other and was very pushy. I see my specialist every three months and my regular doctor every six months so it’s not like I am a bad patient. So that theory about people not going to the doctor that other people are saying is probably not right. I asked what the visit was regarding and she was very vague. I am like most people on this site. I don’t have people come over unless if I know their intentions, And when they become pushy and that makes it even worse. I have never received anything in the mail stating a phone call would be made or that they do home visits. Personally I just find it a little odd

I have received messages for the last year and they do not state they are from United healthcare .... they just say they are from “House Calls”. I did answer once and the lady was very pushy about sending somebody out and I told her I wasn’t interested but thank you and she proceeded to try to schedule an appointment. I am a good patient I go to my specialist every three months and my regular doctor every six months. If it is legit, they don’t need to be wasting their money on me and a home visit. I am well aware of what I need to do to take care of myself and have two doctors that are only a phone call away. I asked to be taken off the list a year ago but I still receive automated calls. I have never received anything in the mail from United stating they would be calling . With HIPPA rules being so strong I am surprised that these phone calls are occurring… I don’t know many people that would let a stranger into their home and talk about their health and whatever else....With no forewarning in writing from the company.

united healthcare house call

It is from United Healthcare wanting to do a nurses house call. I do have United Healthcare, but have told them many times that I am not interested in this program. They try to make it seem like it is mandatory for my policy, but I know it is not. I ended up hanging up on them the second time, and now I send them through my smart call block. Best feature on my new phone ever!!!!
