Called me on the 13th of August, over & over with "collect call from jail, will you accept charges, $3/ minute....." called like 4 or 5 times, so I was wondering if the dude was really in jail. I still dont know. I accepted a few calls, briefly. My phone number was not charged, & the jail of downtown Bmore, I dont think thats Catonsville.

This went to voicemail- an automated voice began speaking without mentioned no any inmates’ names, but went on to describe charges for the call, etc. And did I want to accept just that call or set up prepaid fund for other calls. I know no one in any jail, prison, detention center, or the like. Further, it is a mobile phone, whichyo my knowledge is NOT handed to any inmates to make their calls outside the prison. It must be a scam- they called three times before leaving that message, I blocked them

Inmate call from Patuxent Institution. It's basically the only way we're able to communicate on a consistent basis. All communication is monitored and recorded. Most times the calls are cut off early and only 1 or 2 phones are working(some what), so that's my main complaint because anyone who has been locked up knows that being able to talk to family and friends is one of the major ways an inmate can stay positive and sane.
