This number called today at 6:30 p.m. (New Jersey time) I answered it and got a very strange beep noise. No one was on the other end. I hung up.

Yes, it's a shame that there's such scum out there in the world. But if we all are smart enough to check out these bogus numbers on here, we are smart enough to know never to give out any personal info to any of these scumbags. If enough of us write to the FCC and complain about these numbers, maybe we'd get some relief. I still say blow their ear drums out by using a cowbell or an air horn.
Houston, TX - just received a call from this number. I answered it cause I'm expecting an out of state call and thought this might be it. Other end of line was an automated message in Spanish--my Spanish is a little rough but I picked up the part regarding something about a prize and to press one to accept. I hung up. Going to guess that is was one of those phishing/scam calls...
