They asked for "the home owner", told them it is a rental... They hung up.. They had called before trying to sell solar panels..
When I received a call this morning from this number and with the name ALTAMONTS on my Caller I.D. I did not answer it, but came online to find out who it was. I came across this website and figured from some of the negative comments there had to be a better way to deal with this caller.As expected, from reading your posts, I received another call from the same company and number. I answered with, "Federal Bureau of Investigation. How can I direct your call?"I haven't received another call since and will continue to answer with the same message if they decide to call me on another day.Have fun and mess around with them. They love it when you get angry - turn the tables on them! :)
Just got a call from this number but since I have a blocker the call cannot go through. I called back and got the recording that this number is NOT a working number... So you guessed it... it's a SCAM.
They're calling over and over and over - ten times in last two hours - caller-id also says ALTAMONT - in light of comments on this forum we're just going to block the number.
This number calls me 6 times a day shows up Altamonts on my id my sister was over said she gets same calls.......enough ready next time im going to answer police dept
They have called her every day for a couple of weeks. I finally answered. A woman with an Indian accent said something about iTunes. I requested that she put this number on her do not call list. She hung up.
They just won't give up.. It's third call today and several yesterday. Answered the phone 'this is special agent Johnson'. They Hung up and they haven't called back.
