We keep getting calls from the above number, trying to get us to pay a bill we do not owe
I just received 3 consecutive calls back to back. On the 3rd call the screen on my phone turned red with a message stating scam! This phone number is Midland they are a debt collection company. who buys debts.
They call every single day atleast 3 times a day including Saturday's and Sunday's... Does anyone know how to block or get them to stop filling my phone with empty voicemails???
This number called me on a Sunday evening and my cell phone caller ID said Scam/Fraud.....Don't answer it.
This is a BS narrative these zombie debt collectors try to use to scare you into talking to them. Talking to them is a fatal mistake. It can reopen a debt that has previous expired, beyond the time limit. Google more to learn about zombie debt collectors and their ILLEGAL collection TRICKS.
Unless they are licensed in the state you reside, zombie debt collectors have no legal authority to collect debts across state lines UNLESS you mistakenly talk to them. By talking to them, you and admit you owe this debt. Even if you have paid it off and no longer owe it, you open the door to the zombie debt collector giving them the legal authority to pursue you ACROSS state lines and the burden falls on YOU to PROVE you no longer owe this money OR that you are do not now nor ever owed this money in the first place. Zombie debt collectors make mistakes all the time and pursue the WRONG PEOPLE. Ignore the calls or BLOCK THEM. Eventually, they will give up. Google your rights
