This is not telemarketers or any kind of scam. This is a number that only calls numbers that someone has put in the system to be notified when someone gets out of custody.It is from the app "Mobile Patrol" by Appriss, inc. Or "The VINE Service" judging by their email. Vine@globalservices.com.They don't add your number on their own. Either you gave them your number to be notified, or a friend put your number in there to be helpful, or to be an annoyance, or finally, someone accidentally put your number in.They automatically stop calling to alert by or before 48 hours.Hope this helps.

I am registered with vine and the 502-213-2798 is the Vine number in Kentucky. I live in Tulare County, which is in California. This number showed up on my caller Id with no message. I went to 800notes and put the number in.When I read the complaints something was not adding up. I called the number I have for Vine inmate release 1-877-411-5588 and they had no record of any one calling me. There is some way scammers can use ligament numbers to run their scams. If you are registered with Vine call the 877 number and let them know what is going on. They will track it down. Then call your local sheriff Dept. Give them the information and ask them to look up 800notes.com. The more people that call the faster it will stop. If they call again let them know you have file a complaint with Vine and Law Enforcement. I hope this will help.

I get 3-4 calls from this number per day. Its always a recording about a sex offender. After doing some research, I found that a company called "Alert Xpress" is responsible. I have tried to unsubscribe from "Alert XPress" but I do not have a log in for this phone number and there is no way to recover an old password set a new one. I've been getting these calls for several years. I blocked the number but as soon as I switch phones, the calls start coming through again. I wish they would STOP CALLING ME!

I can block numbers on my cell. Just block them. And if possible, turn off your phone at night. Keep a whistle or the like around. When they call, blast them with it. Of course, if it's a bot.....and it must be...still worth a shrill whistle!

I am receiving calls multiple times a day about an offender transfer. I do not know this person not am I registered with Vine services. Please remove my number from this system for future automated calls.

I havent ever requested for them to call me. Besides i dont know anyone thats in jail

Also, try contacting the FCC. Those calls are harassment and battery-eaters, too, not to mention the annoyance.
