I got the same call said that I was approved for a loan and they gave me my account number but they call me from 502-221-7907

I received this call at on my office phone, left a code reporting I was preapproved. I didnt call back, never applied ofr a loan from this Commonwealth company

This person called two days in a row with an automated voice message saying that I was preapproved for a loan for up to ten thousand dollars with www.comwealthbank.us. I had not even applied for a loan. If you look up the website, it does not exist; the link does not work. They will give you preapproval code in the automated message too. I think it is some kind of phishing scam hoping you answer the phone and answer questions of personal info for them....that is just my guess because in my case, I did not answer the phone so I just have the suspiciously strange automated voice message and the phone number is 502/242-1331 originating out of Kentucky. Why no 800 number even? Totally bogus!

Caller left a message for me to call back because I have been pre-approved for Ten thousand dollars (10,000). With a code to give when I call, or check on line with www.comwealthbank.com. The same number is on my caller ID. When You call the phone does not even ring, after a long pause, it says check the number and call again.

8/7/15..I just got the same call today, i too didn't answer, (because i didn't know the #), so they left a voice mail, that starts with "officer"...Like it was cut off or something. Left this same # also. I'm so sick of these [***] callin my damn phone! Thanks for the heads up!!

I called that number back and they said I was looking for a loan. He asked me how much I was looking for, I said an amount and he hung up. I looked up commonwealth bank on line and got the number. The number is 800-237-0081, dial that number and talked to a lady. She said that they are not associated with any one from that number 502-242-1331, so this is a scam.

I also got a call from 5292421331 and have had no luck talkinng with anyone so probably a scam

I received a voice mail from the number, 502.242.1331 stating that I was approved for a $10,000 loan. I called the number and I spoke with a woman with a Korean accent. She asked me how much would I like. I gave her an amount and she said that my payments would be $152.47/month. She then asked for my bank routing # & account number. Without giving her my information, I asked how long will it take for the money to get into my account? She said in a couple of hours, it will be deposited mobile to mobile. I asked why couldn't it be wired? She stated that the mobile way is faster. I then told her no, that this sounds like a scam and I hung up. She called me right back trying to persuade me. I told her NO, because I didn't apply for a loan. Then I told her that my husband works with the FBI and that ALL of our calls are recorded and can easily be traced especially since I've had you on the phone for more then 2 minutes. Needless to say, she hung up on me and I haven't heard from her since.

I received a call from CommonWealth Credit Bank about twenty minutes ago. I let it go to voicemail, because I didn't recognize the number. 502-242-1331They said I was approved for a $10,000 loan and provided a verification code and a number to call them back. Just so happens that the number was the same number that called me. They also provided an Internet address to use www.commwealthbank.us.Being curious and also wanting to irritate them, I called the number back. All I got was a recording and it was the same female voice that left me a message. It sounded professional, so I hope no one falls for this scam.

I too have had calls from this number for the past 2 days, getting very annoyed by them.. I didnt answer the phone, they just keep leaving messages on my voice mail. REal scampers it looks like. I googled the website doesnt even exist..
