Same recorded pitch - no answer when I stayed on the line. I'm on no-call lists. This is illegal!

SCAM...They say they want to lower your credit card info.What they want is your banking info.Enough said.

I received my first call from these scammers (luckily, a message). When I called back to see who was calling, it asked for an "unblock" of my number (which of course I would not do). Companies like this need to be put out of business and fined. It's simply phishing in the form of a phone call. [***]!

I get calls from this outfit several times a week -- says they want to lower my interest rate and it is my final chance to do this.Wish there were someway to stop these calls.

Like everybody else here, I get these calls and there is nothing I can do to stop them. Like others have said, when you push the number to be removed from their list, nothing happens, when you talk to someone they hang up on you as soon as you tell them to take you off the list.Here's the point I'm getting to. If you don't know what I'm talking about, just google the term: I'm thinking about using my Acme Thunderer on them.

Scammers. Recording saying they want to lower your interest rate. It says press 1, i did and then i just hit #1 and kept it on so it blasted their ear lobe for a complete 2 minutes when i released the key pad they h ad hung up. Next time i will do the same thing, hit a number key on the key pad and let them hear the buzz in their ear. Cowards and idiots. Get a real job not a harrassing people job. Telephone companies, who are big business, give service to these idiots. When you call the phone company to complain that they are harassing you, they have no clue who it could be or how to stop it, it is out of their control. What is not out of their control is that they know how to collect for telephone service from these scammers, then they do know how to contact them. Telephone service is just as guilty in this scam.

call came in at 2:01 Texas time 29 Dec 2011. My phone number IS on the Do Not Call list (for all the good that does)

I WILL find out who they are. I WILL take the time to locate their boiler room. I WILL kill everyone there. That's a promise. I look at it as doing a public service. Think of all the folks who I will have saved heartache and misfortune.

Why can't a country that can find Bin Laden and kill him find these miserable MF telemarketers and do the same thing? John Stossel should get on this case and bring it to a close. Forward all your calls for a week to the White House. Let Barack deal with it. Get Eric Holder on the case. See if that do-nothing AG can stop these scammers.
