Claim I owe past due monies. Hospial says I wasn't placed in collections and am up to date. Nasty when they call, won't listen to me, pushy. Probably a scam. Hospital accounts were hacked about a year ago. Received a letter from them admitting this. My credit card was used out of state where I haven't been. This may be part of the hackers trying to scare people into sending money to them. Do not give them any info IMHO.

Debt collector

They are harrassing me about an unverified balance mistakenly left on my account at a clinic. Of course, I won't deal with them. They pleaded with me not to call the clinic! Hahahagaha

Received a call from this number but did not answer. Came on here to see who made the call. A collecting agency? I have the best credit in the world! Never late on any payments from the past, ever. Everything I have is paid off. WTH?

When they call, if it is not for you, tell them to put your phone number on the 'do not call, do not promote' list. They are supposed to then block your number in their system. If they don't you can then report them to the FTC. The BBB really doesn't have any penalty powers, they can just report that this is a business with a lot of complaints or a bad rating. BBB is really for people looking at a company that they are vetting to do work for them to see if they are reliable.

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. My credit score is tarnished due to these scavengers claiming I owe on hospital bills that both the doctor and the hospital have verified are satisfied. Do research and find out what you really may or may not owe before giving them any information on your finances. I'm currently disputing this claim.
